Children labour is severe..Don't made them shed a tear!

“Child abuse is not simply any harm that befalls children. Children throughout the world suffer from a multitude of harms- malnutrition, starvation, infectious disease, congenital defects, abandonment, economic exploitation, the violence of warfare, to name a few. Not all harm that befalls children is child abuse.”  Child abuse is harm resulting from intentional human action. The most fundamental attribute of child abuse is that it is harmful to the child and detrimental to his/her well-being. There is also an important difference between unintentional and intentional harm. “It has been observed that what is so destructive about child abuse and neglect (as opposed to other forms of injury) is that the betrayal of the child’s trust leads to defective socialization.” Child abuse is correlated with unemployment and poverty. “Rates of abuse and neglect can be thought of as indicators of the quality of life for families, and maltreatment can be viewed as a symptom, rather...

Child Labour in India

Image
India Is Sadly home to the largest number of child labourers in the world . Slavery is legally banned. But millions of India’s children live and work in slave labour conditions — bonded labour, sex trafficking, child labour, domestic ‘help’ servitude and many other forms. According to the latest official public figures available there are at least 14 million children living under slavery. If one did a more honest counting and reporting, this number would surely jump to twice that – perhaps closer to 30 million. Children in India begin working at a very young and tender age. Many children have to work to help their families and some families expect their children to continue the family business at a young age. India has all along followed a proactive policy in the matter of tackling the problem of child labour. India has always stood for constitutional, statutory and developmental measures that are required to eliminate child labour in India. Indian Constitution consciously inc...

Don't be wild Don't force work on a Child.. Children are the most vulnerable groups of our society. They deserve atmost care. WE need to protect them from any form of exploitation and provide them a nuturing environment to grow and develop their potential. In order to provide a secure and healthy future for the children in our country. CAF India works rigorously on the ground to emplement successful programmes through their CSR initiatives and GIVE AS YOU EARN interventions. These programmes not only focus on providing nutritional food to children but also bringing down school dropout rates and creating awareness on the importance of educating them. They are striving to ensure the physical, emotional, intellectual ans social development of children. Slowly but surely, we will help free India from the curse of child labour.                                      SHOW A CHILD LOVE A...

Poverty is a worst form of violence

Child Labour is a Crime..Say NO to Child Labour and YES to Education..  It is a despondent scene that child labour continues to exist in india BECAUSE we do not care enough about who makes our cheap products or about poor parents struggling to afford school fees for their children. Global demand for low cost manufactured products could be one of the reasons strongly responsible for child labour existing TODAY ! Since young children are seen as cheap labour by factories, they are employed at meager wages and sometimes for free.  India needs to wake up..Its future talent is devastating drastically!! WAKE UP INDIA..!  <Child Labour is DEVESTATION They should concentrate on EDUCATION >

The Curse of Child Labour

Children are the greatest gift to humanity and hold the future of our country in their little hands. It's horrifying that one out of every seven children around the world today is a child labourer. In India, child labour and slavery are still pernicious problems to recon with.  A considerable number of children work in factories, sew our clothes, cobble our shoes, clean and toilets, dig mine and fight wars. AND these socio- economic pressure, parents force their children to work from an early age at the expense of their education and childhood. A shocking number of innocent children are trapped in poverty with absolutely no hope for escape and denied the basic right to a healthy, happy CHILDHOOD . For decades, we have employed these little ones as servants, slaves and care takers without a considerate thought to their present to future. There is NO reason There is NO excuse! Child Labour is Child Abuse....... Poverty is not an accident like slavery and apartheid, ...
